Bella Brewing taproom and brewery needs to be your next stop for great craft beer.  While Bella Brewing has been around a while, new owners Chuck and Mark purchased it just four months ago.  Those four months have been packed with learning and creating 13 amazing craft beers.  They bring their unique style, passion for craft beer and down-home welcome feeling which makes Bella Brewing a great place to hang out.

Marco: Bella Brewing Head Brewer

Every great brewery starts with a creative, passionate head brewer and Marco is no exception.  He is not afraid to experiment, try new things and step out of the traditional box.  Whether he is adding donuts to the mix or trying a new yeast, there is always something new and ready to be brewed in their pilot home-brew tank.  Marco gains his inspiration for the next craft beer from food, other brewers, and a variety of beverages.  His next experiment is possibly working with tea.  This young man brings incredible knowledge and great beer to Bella Brewing.

Bella Brewing: The Beer

In just three months, Bella Brewing has 13 amazing beers to
offer to their growing group of beer lovers.
They offer IPAs, Stouts, Sours and so much more.  We had the opportunity to sample many of the
13 options and fell in love with every one of them.  Here are some of our favorites.

  • Nebulous – Juicy IPA

This beer is light, refreshing with
surprisingly no bitterness that is typical of an IPA.  One of my favorites but it took some talking
to get our nephew to try it.  He is not a
fan of IPAs because of the “smack to the back of the mouth” feeling, but this
beer quickly became a favorite once he tasted it.

  • Blu Sno – White Chocolate Blueberry Porter

This beer is not for sipping if you want to
get the incredible blueberry taste.  The
chocolate appears right away as it hits your palate – the blueberry comes on
about midway back on your tongue.  The
interesting thing about this beer is the chocolate tempers down the coffee
flavor of a typical porter.  Great beer,
great flavor!

  • Mash Tun Slumber Party – Cherry Sour

For all you sour lovers, this is a great
beer.  Crisp with a nice sour kick gives
it a nice balance of flavor.  One of my
favorites but then I’m a big fan of sours.
This one is done right!

  • Barrel Aged Lost Dogs – Dark Belgian Ale

This beer, aged for eight months in an 8 Feathers whiskey barrel for about eight months is “big, boozy, sweet and dry.”  It is one of the biggest beers that Bella Brewing has made to date.  This beer is one of Marco favorites.

Bella Brewing: What’s next

It’s hard to imagine what’s next when they have only been doing this for three months. However, these guys are planning to be around for a long time.  A great product, great head brewer and a dream to live their passion keep Mark and Chuck thinking about the future of Bella Brewing.

Brewed Thoughts

This beer lover found so many things to like about Bella Brewing.  You can’t help but feel like family when you walk in the door.  Chuck and Mark are all about creating an experience that you won’t soon forget.  The beer is amazing, but the atmosphere and the people keep you coming back for more.  There is nothing better than sidling up to the bar, getting a great beer and having a conversation with the owner(s), their great staff or even the head brewer!   They grab and beer, and before long, it feels like you’ve known them forever.  It’s time for you to get your adventure on and head on over to Bella Brewing – you will never want to leave!
