Nampa Idaho is the new home to Centerfire Distillery, bringing with it an amazing bourbon, whiskey and moonshine.  Co-founders Justin and Cameron woke up one morning with a dream and a vision.  Iinitially, thought they would get into the brewing business but then found an opportunity to get into distilling instead.  Their dream to build a business took form very quickly when they found a small distillery they could purchase.  Once purchased, they moved it to Nampa where Centerfire Distillery became a reality.  Passion and purpose with an opportunity to give back to the community are just a few of the things that make these guys amazing.  Learn more about Centerfire in this video.

Bourbon Making

Bourbon isn’t bourbon unless it is made in a new oak barrel, reaches a certain alcohol content and is predominately corn.  Big and small barrel line the wall of Centerfire Distillery as they bring the flavor of this amazing bourbon to life.  Smaller barrel allows for faster availability while larger barrels take over 2 years to be ready to bottle. 

Whiskey and Moonshine

The ability to use the old bourbon barrels to process the whiskey and flavored moonshine keep the waste down. In addition, these barrels create the unique flavors Centerfire Distillery is quickly becoming known to produce.  Right now, they are flavoring the moonshine with mango, huckleberry, and strawberry.  Creativity is an active part of what they are looking to offer this community and eventually all across the nation.  Smooth and flavorful best describe their whiskey offerings.

Giving Back

Community is important to both Justin and Cameron.  As you walk into the back room, you can’t help but notice where their history.  Both served our country in the military and they honor that service and everyone in it every day in all they do.  Down to earth, passionate and compassionate are just a few of the words to describe these guys.  We immediately felt welcomed and just like part of the family as we learned more about this amazing dream for these two guys! 

Moving Forward
